As a salon owner my goal is to grow hair stylists one at a time. Watching young stylists flourish is the most rewarding aspect of my career. My focus on excellence in service and client loyalty has facilitated Salon Central to grow into a market leader in the DMV area.

HAIRCUTS
A good haircut should make you feel great. It is an accessory you wear every day, all day. Your haircut should be easy to care for and contemporary in style. At Salon Central we strive to give you the look you desire. Our stylists will listen, ask questions and provide recommendations based on your hair type.
COLOR
Emphasize the detail of your haircut with a color service. Whether you choose balayage, highlights or an all over color, coloring your hair adds the finishing touch. Salon Central stylists are trained on the latest techniques.
BLOWOUTS / FINISHING TOUCHES
Blow out services and finishing touches bring out your authentic beauty. Blowouts are perfect for so many occasions and can give you that extra polished look for a special event or holiday celebration. Blowouts can also provide you with the extra confidence you need for a job interview or for your professional head shot. Finishing touches make your new bangs pop with an amazing eyebrow shape. In any of these scenarios, a blowout or finishing touch at Salon Central is just what you need!
TEXTURE SERVICES
Are you considering a straightening treatment to tame frizz, but unsure about being exposed to the dangers of formaldehyde found in keratin treatments? We offer the solution. Keratin Comp, Milbon’s Liscio Japanese smoothing service can be customized for all hair types. After the application, your hair will be smooth and frizz-free.
WAXING SERVICES
Our waxing technique is highly praised by our guests. We believe in a waxing experience that is quick and painless as possible. In order to achieve the best results your hair should have at least 1/4 of an inch in growth. Be sure to avoid sun exposure and any heat treatments for at least two hours before waxing and twelve hours after waxing. We regret that we cannot perform any waxing services if you use Retin-a or Accutane.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
Our number one priority is to ensure we reserve an appointment that works best for your schedule with your preferred stylist. We set aside this specific time to provide you with an excellent experience and meet all your styling needs.
At Salon Central we require a MINIMUM of 24 hours' advanced notice
to make any changes to your reserved appointment.
Whether that is a cancellation, request to reschedule or change of service.
We also require a credit card on file to book any services with any stylist.
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING FAQs
1. How far in advance should I cancel or reschedule my reservation?
The sooner the better! If you know there is a conflict with your scheduled appointment, we ask that you get in touch with the salon ASAP.
Time is precious for our styling team, and we recognize that it is also important for you, our guest! Last-minute cancellations really affect our stylists as many of them have active waitlists full of other guests who could’ve been accommodated during a cancelled/rescheduled availability. Our team respects your time and expects the same courtesy in return.
Please make sure you are cancelling/rescheduling any appointments with ample time and certainly before the 24-hour window to avoid being charged any fees.
2. Are there any fees for cancelling or rescheduling an appointment? What happens if I don’t show up at all?
If you cancel or reschedule your appointment prior to the 24-hour window you will not be charged any fees. Fees will only be charged to appointments that are cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of their start time.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the cost of service.
No-show appointments will be charged 100% of the cost of service.
3. How can I cancel/reschedule my reservation?
To cancel or reschedule an appointment you can call the salon directly at 301-767-1077, email saloncentral@gmail.com, or utilize the cancellation/rescheduling functions in your reminder texts/emails.
We recommend saving the following to your contacts so you receive our reminder and confirmation notifications.

•Texts will come from: 844-949-1848 (we cannot receive texts to this number)
Please note that reminder emails/texts go out 7 days prior to your scheduled appointment. Confirmation emails/texts go out 2 days prior to your scheduled appointment, at which point you may use the links to cancel or request a reschedule via text or email so long as the 24-hour window has not passed.
4. Are there any exceptions to this policy?
We understand that life happens and unforeseen circumstances occur. Our goal is not to create any added stress to emergent situations you may encounter. All we ask is that you get in touch with the salon ASAP to inform us of any changes to your appointment.
With that being said, if we find that emergency situations are becoming too frequent, we do reserve the right to charge any fees as we see fit.
5. If a credit card is needed to book an appointment, where is my credit card information kept?
We use Meevo spa software at Salon Central. Meevo cannot see your personal information, and it does not store it either. A token is created in your client file which only keeps the card holder’s name, expiration date of the card, and the last 4 digits of the card number.
Please note by scheduling any services at Salon Central, you are agreeing to and responsible for any fees should you cancel/reschedule after the 24-hour window.

Who is Olaplex for?
Virgin Hair
Olaplex helps to repair existing damage while protecting it from thermal, mechanical and environmental damage. It strengthens and prepares the hair for future services.
Straight Hair
Olaplex will strengthen straight hair improving manageability, movement and shine. The condition of the hair won’t be compromised using thermal styling options such as curling irons, hot rollers, etc. when the hair is treated prior with Olaplex.
Color Treated Hair
Olaplex can be mixed into all colors and lighteners to lessen the damage caused by these services. It can also be also used to maintain and repair color treated hair for healthy, beautiful looking hair.
Curly & Naturally Textured Hair
Olaplex rebuilds, restructures and improves moisture retention to curls that have lost their shape. Olaplex infuses curly hair with added moisture and condition for beautiful bouncy, resilient curls. Fragile curly hair has more lightening and chemical service options when Olaplex is used.
Chemically Textured Hair (perms, relaxers, keratin)
Olaplex helps to maintain the integrity of the hair before, during and after all texture services. Texture services last longer, and the hair stays in better condition when Olaplex is used correctly. Damage-free Color and Lightening Services performed after any texture service are possible when properly using them with Olaplex
Extensions
Olaplex can be used on all 100% human hair extensions. Some extensions have a Keratin coating on them which can sometimes act as a barrier to the Olaplex Treatment. Extensions sometimes are treated with textile dyes which can lead to unpredictable results with Color or lightening. With any type of glued in or taped in extensions, we recommend keeping Olaplex off those areas to avoid possibly loosening them. When in doubt, always perform a Strand Test on extensions as results may vary.

What is Fusio Dose?
With up to 30 unique combinations, Fusio Dose treatments instantly transform your hair. Composed of two parts, a concentré and a booster, Fusio Dose treatments help you address a variety of concerns and are formulated based on your hair goals. It allows you to target two unique hair concerns at the same time.
What is the difference between the Booster vs. Concentré?
Concentrés are highly concentrated vials that address your main hair concern. The boosters are packed with powerful skincare active ingredients to help you reach your hair goals. A concentré is then mixed with a Booster to create your custom treatment.
How does it work & how long does the custom hair treatment take?
Before beginning your treatment, your stylist will diagnose your hair. Depending on your hair needs, they will select a Concentré and Booster to combine and spray onto the hair at the back bar. Within 5-minutes, your tailor-made treatment will be complete and you’ll be flaunting lush, re-energized hair all day!

Tipping Policy
We do not accept gratuity via credit card transaction. We ask that you leave your gratuity in the form of cash or Venmo directly with your stylist. There is an ATM conveniently located in our plaza at Wells Fargo. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
